DIY: Stationery

I have been wanting to make my own stationery since I saw the tutorial on Cupcakes & Cashmere because it looked easy yet cute.

{And yes, this is my second diy project from her. What can I say, she has good projects!}

What I love about this project is that you can do any design or any style. I tried to do some basic cards for my husband & I are to use, which did not come out quite like I wanted but were a good practice.

What you’ll need:

plain stationery

glitter (Martha Stewart’s is what I used)

glue pen

stamp/ink or pen

Each step is fairly easy:

Or you can do what Emily did & draw your own design.

The glitter is very fine, so I’d put something under the card that is easy to clean up.

The glue holds the glitter really well & gives just the right amount of sparkle.

Very easy yet a lot of fun to come up with different ideas. And I love the personal touch of the cards versus buying a generic one.
