The Ten: A Loyal Love

Its Friday! And I have a fun filled weekend – date night tonight, then my nephew’s First Communion & a baby shower for one of my besties tomorrow. Love celebrating with friends & family! Plus I had another nephew born this week! So many fun things happening this spring.

Another fun thing? I’ve completed yet another (and by another I think this is whopping #3- oops) on my 30 Before 30 list– guest posting on Nautical by Nature today! Go see a fun nautical find from Portland.

But now on to The Ten. Today’s blogger is another DC gal who I met through CapFABB! Tammy from A Loyal Love has a gorgeous blog & great style. Just check out her daily outfit posts- definitely attainable but very chic.

House of Pain’s “Jump Around”.

I’m currently reading I Don’t Know How She Does It by Allison Pearson. The book is about juggling a full-time career with being a mother and whether it’s possible to be successful at both. They recently made a movie out of it, but I’m one of those people who like to read the book before seeing the movie. The book is always better.

Pretty in Pink. It’s one of the few DVDs that I own. I’m in with love the scene where Duckie lip sings Otis Redding’s “Try a Little Tenderness” to Andie in effort to win her over. It’s also one of my favorite songs.

Hello Kitty. You can’t look at her without smiling.

Aimee Song from Song of Style. She’s got this super cool, laid back, Cali style. In my mind, she spends her days cruising around LA/SanFran on her skateboard and eating ice cream cones.

I’m addicted to Celebrity Apprentice. I watch it every week! The show always reveals a side of someone that I never expect to see.

The future? Not that I want to be/get older, but I’m so curious to see how technology will continue to evolve.

Christopher Wallace aka The Notorious B.I.G. Like me, he likes to “sip champagne when {he’s} thirst-ay”.

Birthday cakes – the multi-layered, professional looking ones with the intricate details. You can eat cake as a meal right?

I REALLY want to know how to sew and make patterns. My mom use to make a lot of my clothes when I was little, and I would love to do the same for my kids.
