How not to break those resolutions

I’m imagining this is the time those pesky New Years resolutions are getting really old.

And while my resolutions this year do not revolve around exercise & healthy eating, it doesn’t mean that I’m out binging on cheese (those stay tuned for tomorrow’s post where I give you an excuse to do just that!).

So while working out may not be at the top of your list on a cold January day, here are some items to maybe give yourself a little boost.

{Because really, why not have another excuse to shop?}

Putting on the workout clothes is half the battle- once they’re on, they’re a constant reminder that you should get your butt in gear! Plus Old Navy, Target, & other low cost retailers have a wide selection. (Or check out Athleta for a slightly high quality).

I’m obsessed with this custom yoga mat– I bought one for my mom & she’s the envy of her pilates class.

I live about 2 blocks from my gym, so I have no excuse. Except sometimes its raining. And then sometimes in the winter its really icy. The snow makes my sneakers soggy. DVDs will eliminate all my excuses & I’m enjoying Body by Bethenny a lot right now.

Heidi Swanson’s recipes are inspiring, though I am nowhere close to an all-natural vegetarian. I do feel more energetic with her recipes  though as my lunchtime meals. And less guilty with my dinner choices!

  2. Hey!!

    I can find some deals on running/yoga clothes at TJ MAXX. Although,my latest obsession is lululemon and it is NOT at The Maxx, lol.

    That cook book sounds good, I need to check that out!

    I’m a new follower! Love your blog. I have been doing Jillian Michaels DVD’s and it’s so much better than treadmill for an hour! I’ve been curious about the Bethenny DVD’s also. Love these items!
