I’ll be off walking…..

Its here!

The Washington D.C. Susan G Komen Walk for Breast Cancer is starting tomorrow.

We’ve trained, we’ve fundraised, and now we’re ready to walk!

So due to the fact that I will not have the time nor the internet to post, I’m taking a little blog break!

I’ll tell you all about the 3Day when I get back next week, but until then think of me & my teammate Lauren.

We’ll be walking 60 miles, sleeping in pink tents, and drinking a lot of powdered Gatorade.

And if you really want to be supportive, I still need a little over $100 in donations, so here’s the link:

Kellie’s 3Day Page!

I’ve raised over $2,000 so far, so I’m feeling pretty good!

If you’re in the D.C. area and see a swarm of pink coming at you, you’ll know to cheer!

See you next week!

  1. That’s awesome! What a GREAT Cause! I started my social work career as a hospice social worker and we need all the help we can get fighting ca! Can’t wait to hear all about it 🙂

  2. What a great job!!! And thank you so much…I think I remember you asking me about our race…I am the survivor chair for the Maryland Race for the Cure. I was the Race chair for 2008 and 2009 and the slipped back into the survivor position…I couldn’t remember if I had ever answered your question or not..I am so sorry if I didn’t. I spoke at the DC 3 day a couple of years ago…I hope you hold up well, be safe, and have a blast! Thanks for all of your hard work!!
