Having been together for awhile and having lost what little interest we had to begin with in Valentine’s Day, my husband proposed a new tradition: pick the last movie (that is out by Feb.14) we would ever go to see. We figured it’d be entertaining and at first I thought we might see some good movies that otherwise we’d miss (how wrong I was).
Which is why we’ve spent the past few Valentine’s seeing these gems:
This had been the best one we’d seen. Which is saying a lot.
Not only was this movie awful (pretty sure I fell asleep during it) but we hadn’t seen the first one, making even less sense why we’d see the sequel.
This would be an actual scene from “The Wolfman”. Anthony Hopkins, Benicio del Toro, Emily Blunt…… I was thinking that it might actually turn out to be a good movie and pull one past my husband. I was very, very wrong.
So this year the winner was…… “Justin Bieber:Never Say Never”! In 3D no less!
I have to say, this was the most entertaining Valentine’s Day movie we’ve seen yet. I have a new appreciation for the Bieber (considering I had zero before) b/c he actually is talented and seems to have a good head on his shoulders.
The highlight of the movie was definitely the fans hyperventillating- we’re talking about the girls in the movie and the girls in the theatre with us. We had girls screaming, dancing, even taking camera photos of the movie screen (I feel like googling the images would have been easier).
While I’m not about to go fight off 13 year olds to get to his concert, we did go home and download a few songs. And I will be singing this all day because its now permanently stuck in my head…..
