BookWorm: Never Let Me Go

I have yet to see the movie and am a little scared to, the book was that good. The story is about 3 friends who grow up in a boarding school in England for “special” kids. We don’t know until the end of the book exactly what makes them different and at first they don’t understand either. They struggle to grow up, leave the school, experience the real world.

Their biggest struggle is with fully learning why they are different, why people are afraid of them, and then coming to terms with their fate (with a love story thrown in there). I don’t want to give it away and everytime I try to explain the story people give me weird looks, but the book is beautiful.

This has been one of the few books this year my work book club has actually all loved, and trust me, we’re picky!
