For Love of Audrey

Some women like Katherine Hepburn, some women are more Marilyn types, but I’m clearly an Audrey girl. My favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany’s of course, which my mom made me watch for the 1st time when I was young.

My love for her only grew after reading Donald Soto’s Enchantment. Audrey’s life is fascinating: escaping German-occupied Belgium, her beginning career as a dancer, her struggles with confidence as an actress, and her charity work later in life (did you know that she trained for months to sing in My Fair Lady but had her voice replaced without being told?). No matter what life threw her she handled it with class and grace.

Its the 50th anniversary of Breakfast at Tiffany’s– so put on your pearls and celebrate!

Bringing back Audrey style in the 21st century!
